United Companies is best known as the company with the red, white and blue trucks, serving our communities with the production of sand and rock products, ready-mixed concrete, hot mixed asphalt and construction services, including grading and paving of highways, streets, parking lots and driveways. Since 1953, we have steadily grow from a handful of employees working in the Grand Junction area to currently employing 300 people and serving a market area of over 14, 500 square miles in 11 counties in Western Colorado. Our area of operations includes Mesa County, Rio Blanco, Garfield, Delta, Montrose and Gunnison counties. United Companies joined the Oldcastle Materials team in 1998.
